Would you buy a sequel to the SNES Super Mario RPG on the Wii?

SMRPG fans have been waiting for ages for an actual sequel to this game, and everytime I think about the game I cry a little because I sold my SNES copy when I was younger, and its not on the VC :(

The sequel would do pretty well I think.

I dunno, Super Mario RPG was kinda lame, I didn't like it...

Paper Mario is the Mario RPG people love, and it's on VC!

i like character development in my rpgs. where mario is fine in a platformer, i dont think hes cut out for rpgs.

Mario RPG was the beta version that Nintendo tested out.

They finally got it right when they started the Paper Mario series and have stuck with it ever since.

I doubt they go back.

Paper Mario is NOT a sequel to SMRPG. SMRPG was made BY Squaresoft. It would be like having Final Fantasy 13 developed by... oh I don't know, EA or something. Even if FF's aren't actual sequels to each other, its kind of the same premise.reeset

If they did I would probably shoot myself. I can't stand to play some of the crap they spew out at such levels.

One thing that I always find funny is when I go to a store like Hastings, in the used games section, you will find row after row of old EA Sports games. Mostly football, but some basketball and hockey here and there. And then I wonder how people can continue to play a rehash of the same damn game over and over again. I mean, eventually it's gonna get to the point of where they CAN'T add anything new.

Then again, I've never played any EA Sports games other than Tiger Woods golf, so my opinion really doesn't count for ****.

Paper Mario TTYD = Best Mario RPG in existence. I think it's sheer awesomeness was the reason Super Paper Mario was a platformer instead. It just can't be surpassed.kieranb2000
