Because normally you wouldn't have to pre-order a video game, I'm wondering if the same would apply fror MK Wii. Would the inclusion of the Wii Wheel cause Nintendo to make less Mario Kart packages? Should I be able to walk into walmart when it opens tomorrow morning and buy it? I always get a little paranoid that I'm not going to get an anticipated game when it comes out...

Not because it's a bigger package, because they have to manufacture the Wii Wheel as well.

Nintendo made enough to sell them at retail separately.

If they have enough to sell them separately they have enough for the game.

Well the Wii Wheel is just a plastic hold, so it wouldnt be very hard to manufacture.

I dont think you can walk into Wal-Mart the FIRST day it comes out, and expect to pick it up at the end of the day with no reservation. Oh, and you must be interested in Mario Kart Wii because this is your second thread on it this week.

Why not? That's what I did with Brawl and they had 200+ copies left over.

Well, there's a chance it may end up like Wii Play. That game was pretty hard to find when it first came out. And It continues to sell well.

Surprisingly I don't think I've ever had a big problem finding game on opening day. I got Brawl on opening day with absolutely no problem, and even when I went with my friend to gte Halo 3 on opening day there were tons of copies. So I wouldn't worry about MK too much.
