In the U.S.A you can only buy 2000 points I presume because those are the only ones I have gotten. However in Japan you can buy 1000, 3000 and 5000 (Bundled with Classic controller). But they are region coded so they won't work in the U.S.A.
when the wii first came out i saw 500 point cards and 1000 but i guess ether they were not selling enough or they stopped caring now they only sell 2000
What Nintendo should do is sell different wii points so you're not left with odd numbers which you can't get rid of. I'm still stuck with 100 points on my wii unless I buy more points.
