In my personal opinion, i think that we shouldn't pay for a %&$*ing internet browser just to see if i screwed up on any flash object i make for the wii.

Third party companies should donate their services free of charge?
What's next? Your next thread will ask why Capcom or EA or Sega charge money for their games instead of giving them away from free?

The video games are worth the money, but i'm just saying that they should've given the internet channel as a freebie because i see no reason why Nintendo needs to sell the internet channel. Unless you have valid reasons why it shouldn't be free, i would like to ask you to crawl back to the OIFY you came from, you mingebag. But if my asssumpion about you being a mingebag is incorrect, then scurry back to /b/.

Well I see the problem, you think that Nintendo makes the browser.

Well, Nintendo did not make the browser, but they are making money off it.
IMO, it should be for free, I don't see anyone paying for Firefox..even though its a hell of a browser, and Mozilla didnt create it for free and puts a lot of effort in it.
Plus...we're talking 5 bucks..
Should have been included in the Wii package IMO....it wouldn't have hurted Nintendo...and definitely would have pleased more Wii buyers...
I got it for free... but no... and even if it I did not had it, it should not be free, if you want a browser on your wii so bad you should pay for it, and is not like you wil pay monthly or something like that...
I have it since launch and I have not use it more than 5 times... maybe.. maybe 10...
um... has anyone noticed the fact that... ITS 5 BUCKS. not a monthly fee or weekly fee, no, a ONE time cost of $5.
get out of your mom's basement, get a job, and work the less than an hour it takes to make that kind of money. you can even quit your job if you want to and STILL keep your browser that you worked so "hard" for.
seriously... i could understand if this was a larger amount but stop being so cheap. i paid for mine and it was completely worth the purchase.
^I think its more the principal of the thing & not the amount. It seems like nickle & diming. And they're charging a premium for something thats barely usable in the first place.
Besides, it was once free & is still free updates to those who downloaded early, now its not for new users. Nothing has really changed that I can tell even after the updates, so what are people paying for exactly??

That's my point EXACTLY....
because it's JUST 5 bucks...and because its a SEMI-BROWSER...with very limited capacity...yet fun as a whole (simple CUT & PASTE is non existent)
it SHOULD BE FOR FREE......
included with the Wii...it would be a NICE extra feature.....and definitely would not hurt Nintendo's profit....
but to ask a premium for it....only to find out that it's a VERY BASIC browser.....and when many early adopters had it for free....well...doesn't go down ok in my book....just my 2 cents...
If Nintendo offered a FULLY functional browser...and charged ..say even 20 bucks for it...I would have GLADLY payed for that...
Cheers...
