i just bought it today. i havent gotten all that far into it, but im liking what ive played
though im guessing its more of a treat for long term re fans, which i am.
from what ive played, i can assert that its fun, but not overly immersive. which is perfect for me right now. i dont really have much free time anymore, so being able to pop in the game and blast zombies for 15-20 mintures and being able to walk away easily is kinda what i want
Bought it today as well, i think when you start playing, you can feel the "quality" from it. It not one of those cheap "movie games" there's some nice story telling, the action is good.. but still wondering if the Wii Zapper is going to add something to the game.
But the game is very very good IMO, i'm a newly RE fan, i played RE 1 and 2 for the Playstation..like 2 levels in each games.. but i have the RE:4 for the Wii and as a new Re fan, i'm quite happy about Umbrella and it's fun to learn more about the REAL story..

resident evil 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and cv dont have levels.....:x
i bought it two days ago and im having a blast with it. my friends and i played the co-op missions and it's fun playing with another person. the game alone is pretty long for a rail-shooter, but it's definately worth picking it up. i have no problem with the graphic. infact, i like it a lot. the only downside is to get acritical hit! it's a pain, and aiming at the head is always a 50/50 chance it might blow up. all in all, good game overall. fun with a friend and long enough by yourself.
Hmm, I'm a huge Resident Evil fan... but I've had doubts about this game. Do you guys think I should pick it up? I don't mind that it's an on rails shooter, Im just worried about the overall quality of the game.
It is a fun game. I think it is a must have, it utilizes the wii remote perfectly, and you cant go wrong witha cool light gun game. I would have to say it is the first time that my wife(who doesnt play any video games) have ever sat down and played a game together and she was able to keep up. Games like these are just FUN!!!
Do you guys think all the necessary scenarios are there? Is there any in particular that are missing? I'm talking from a long time RE fan perspective, I know they haven't included anything from RE CVX though.
So you guys think it's better to buy Umbrella Chronicles instead of picking up RE4 Wii for cheaper instead? And has anyone played it with the zapper or is it still not out for a few days?
Its great fun, the price is a little steep though. It was a birthday present for me, but if I had to pay that much for it I would wait for a price decrease...
Don't listen to Gamespot's score for the game. It's great. The thing is, that beating the game takes a short time. Me and my friend beat everyone's story mode except for 1 or 2, in one day.
Well the game's ok, it has some annoying framerate issues though and I wonder why cause it doesn't even look that good. Bad coding I guess. Can't wait to play it with my brother!
