Agreed. I got FF3 and I just never really got into. I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan and have played almost everyone. Some of my favorites are the old-school FFs, so I'm not being biased. I'd wait for Pokemon or get Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time  if you don't already have it.
Doesn't matter. Still get Pokemon. It takes usually about 20-30 hours to beat it, and that's without trying to catch all the guys. Also, if you're willing to restart your game, it can have great replay value as well. Get Pokemon!
FFIII DS is basically a remake of a VERY old game. The graphics, storyline, and characters have been improved from the original. However, the gameplay (while it looks nice) feels very old-school since it hasn't been updated much from the original game. It's not an awful game. But compared to other games in the series, FFIII is just so-so. I'm a big fan of Final Fantasy, but I'd choose Pokemon D/P over this. :/
i have to say get pokemon there great games and i Have FF3 and i have to say just like every one els i never really got into it but with pokemon games it is hard not to getinto..
either one will do. if u wana catch em all, stick to pokemon, if u wana train em all get ff3. i played the *** ver of the pokemon. Not a bad game and so is ff3. here's my advice, if u have fwens that play pokemon, then pokemon would be ur choice cuz you can battle with them. i love blink 182
That's a pretty hard choice. I have FF3 and getting Pearl on the 22nd. But, unlike the rest of these guys here, I actually enjoyed FF3. Maybe its only the beginning cuz I only got it last week, but it's pretty amazing. Old-school turn-based system, awesome graphics (especially for the DS), sweet job system, the FF that has never made it to American shores. On the other hand, being a Pokemon kid when it first came out, Pokemon has its shares of strengths: wi-fi battle, new touch-screen gameplay, and collecting pokemon! I stopped watching and keeping track of the pokemon after silver and gold and the series moving to the ds entrigues me. Both games are worth every penny, but I'd suggest pokemon. You can never go wrong with the game
k, i don't know if you were with me back in the day of the golden age of rpgs. those were the SNES rpgs, FFIII is even more old school than that, it's from the NES. if you would like a FF game, FF6 for the gba would be your best bet. don't let it fool you because it's a gba game, it's one of the best rpgs ever made from square. pokemon will also be incredibly good.
:Dwell i think i would say pokemon...why cause it has wifi...at least you can go once a week to a wifi spot....and can u imagine catching like 400 pokemons or so...pretty cool right?...and if you have play the other versions it sure its going to be fun...now the main question is...which version???
