#1 without a doubt. Twilight Princess is the best zelda game to date, easily.
1. Twilight Princess
2. Ocarina of Time
3. Link to the Past
4. The Legend of Zelda
5. Links Awakening
6. Links Adventure
7. Majora's Mask
8. The WindWaker
9. Phantom Hourglass
10. Minish Cap
11. Four Swords Adventure
I've never played the oracle games so i cannot place them. The legend of zelda is my favourite franchise by far, each of those games on the list rank among my favourite games ever. That is to say that while i think Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time outshone both Majora's and WindWaker, those two games still rank among some of the greatest games ever imo.
Considering how bad the game was I put it as one of the 5 worst Zeldas of all time...
Twilight Princess
Zelda 2 (only because of the strobe effect when you die)
Zelda's Adventure
Zelda Wand of Gamelon
Link the Faces of Evil
The only game that's not CDi based that's worse is Zelda 2 and if you took out that seizure screen in 2 it might be the worst ever Zelda game made by Nintendo
Somewhere around the bottom. It's the only Zelda I've had to literally force myself to play.AlexSaysditto
majora's mask
ocarina of time
link to the past
wind waker
oracle of seasons
.....
last and least - twilight princess
1. Ocarina of Time
2. Twilight Princess
3. A Link to the Past
4.Majoras Mask
5.Legend of Zelda (NES old school))
I actually really liked Twilight Princess. I thought it was really good.
My top 5 Zelda games are:
Ocarina of Time
A Link to the Past
The Wind Waker
Majora's Mask
The Minish Cap
Twilight Princess is the 6th.
I never get tired of doing this...
1. majora's mask
2. wind waker
3. ocarina of time
4. link to the past
5. twilight princess
thats not to say i didnt like it, its just my least favorite of the zeldas
I'm glad to see all the love for Wind Waker. I'm all for seeing another cell-shaded Zelda entry on a major Nintendo console (although Phantom hourglass was amazing).
Its funny, I used to despise TP, but after playing a second time, it's quickly becoming one of my favorites.
1. OoT
2. WindWaker
3. Link's Awakening
4. Twilight Princess
5. Four Swords Adventures
My biggest issue with Twilight Princess was the lack of a sufficiently epic story. OoT had the surprisingly poignant time travel theme. WW incorporated aspects of the archetypal "great flood" story with all of its fascinating connotations of death and renewal. Link's Awakening made commentary on the relationship between dreams and reality. Twilight Princess had a complex and well-thought out plot, but it was hollow. All swords and sorcery and no heart. The gameplay and dungeons were solid, though, as they always are in Zelda games.

I know I played Twilight Princess in 2006 originally on the Gamecube and never thought much of it...
This year I played it for a second time on the Wii and now it's one of my favourites!
Somewhere in the lower middle. It had a lot of potential and was super hyped. I fell for the hype and was disappointed.
1. Ocarina of Time
2. Wind Waker
3. Majora's Mask
4. Minish Cap
5. LTTP
6. Link's Awakening
7. Twilight Princess
8. Oracle of Ages/Seasons
9. Legend of Zelda (NES)
10. Phantom Hourglass (Unless I forgot about some Zelda's)
