I got my Wii about a week ago and have been having some problems with the sensor bar and my wii remote. Whenever I move my remote to the right or left edge of the screen the cursor jumps to the side. When it jumps to the side it re-aligns itself so that the cursor is not where I am pointing my remote, it is a few inches to the left or right. The sensor bar is on the edge of my TV on the top. The battery bar for my wii remote is full. I would guess I sit about 8-10 feet away from TV, so I didn't the problem was that I was too far away. I also wouldn't think that 8-10 feet would be too close. If any of you guys could give me some insight on what is happening that would be great. Thanks!

Well, I looked in the Wii Operations Manual and it said that bright light sources near a TV or wii remote can interfere with the remote. So, I turned off my lamp by my TV and now it is working fine!

Now, to move that lamp....

If you reduce the sensetivity of the sensor bar you may not need to move the lamp. Its in the settings somewhere (can't remember where, its ages since I changed it). Just mess about with that and see if it helps.

just make sure you aren't experimentg with any nuclear/radioacyive substances in your living room.

That could be bad for the sensor bar.
