For those of you who have been keeping up with this lesser known game, or who played and enjoyed the previous Trauma Center games, it's looking good so far!

Three reviews have been posted on gamerankings with a ~85% so far: http://www.gamerankings.com/wii/960426-trauma-team/index.html

Reviews include:

Gamervision 8.25/10

Game Informer 8/10

Game Vortex 92/100

Not exactly the most trustworthy or extensive sources, but a good sign nonetheless. They seem to praise the game for the revamped presentation, increased variety with different modes including forensics and diagnostics, and a more open and flexible game structure. Both online reviews did not like the control scheme of the endoscopy mode though.

Amazon has the game listed to be released May 18th, for 39.99.

So, anyone excited?

I've been keeping my eye on the game lately. Considering it comes out the same day as Galaxy 2, it's no surprise that it's being lost in the shuffle, but I've been interested in the way the game handles itself. If the game has a solid length going for it, I'm considering giving it a shock, especially at the $40 price tag.

It's good to see some positive impressions of the game, though, even if I think that they're a tad early. :P

Sounds good! Same day as Galaxy 2? When will Galaxy 2 reviews start coming in then?

I love the series. Trauma Team can be very well be the best in the series.

I'm disappointed that there's no time limit. It's actually good and a bad thing.

I'm not; I always thought the time limit sucked, especially in levels like the first burn victim in New Blood.

I'm excited. Honestly, when I heard they were just going to drop the price and hit the release deadline anyhow I have been worried about the stability of the game. Still I like the idea of having more types of modes and such... The vain part of me wishes they would have used the same art style as Second Opinion though.

Excellent :D I love Trauma Centre, it's possibly the best 3rd party series on Wii, can't wait for this sequel.

I always hated the time limit it never made much sense since the patient was always still alive if it ended, and it seemed like always having a five minute limit would limit the kind of operations the developers could make. Never was a fan of the healing touch or guilt either.

Yeah, to be honest I'd kind of like a Trauma game in which the operations don't turn into "FIGHT ALIEN BACTERIA 100% OF THE TIME" in the second half of the game. I hope this game finds some other way to stir up interesting operations. :P

I still need to get New Blood and UTK2. I do want this game though. Maybe after I beat those ones and SMG2.

It's a solid series, the first game was great and they've been able to build successfully off of it

I'm glad to see that stupid timer gone, there's no excuse for any game to have a timer (unless it's a sports title) because it interrupts the player's ability to experiment with their gameplay. The timer system has you just rushing to the end while no timer allows the player to see how else they can do certain procedures.

The Trauma franchise is one of the strongest ones on the Wii
