From what I've heard it's a slightly pimped version of Diamond. And with so many Pokimon games out the developers were bound to stumble in the originality department. I've watched a couple reviews out of curiosity and it essentionally looked like the same exact game with minor improvements sprinkled here and there.
Is is just me or is Pokemon Platinum exactly the same as Diamond?

Exact same= copy, which Platinum is not. For example, you can't acess a "wifi plaza" in D/P nor can you use the battle frontier, meaning it is "just you" (along with a few other people).
It's basically the same of the previous two games, with some extras. That's already a reason for it to sell millions, won't we all end up buying it anyway?
