Metroid Prime 3 is NOT an Fps for the last time
Jaysonguy
Yes it is
Confirming this. Unless running around shooting things in a first-person view doesn't qualify as FPS material... Then, what the hell is this Team Fortress 2 game I've been playing for the last year?! I don't even know what genre it is anymore...:cry:Red Steel is the best wii FPS so farJdog30:roll:
Metroid Prime 3 is an FPS if we want to get technical. Is it first person view? Yes. Do you shoot things? Yes. That just about covers it. I'm aware people will call it First-Person Adventure, which is also appropriate. Maybe we should refer to it as a FPSSHFA? First-Person Super Shooting Happy Fun Adventure! Excellent game by the way.tommy--F
You missed out Puzzler!
That's hard to say. In my experience (games I have played), I think Metroid Prime Trilogy is the best for a Single-Player campaign. For Multiplayer, it's hard to choose. The Conduit is a NON-WWII SHOOTER, but Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 seems to run smoother and faster (Conduit. I rented it and the single player SUCKED! Multiplayer was good, but sometimes it would glitch, like I wouldn't be able to find a server EVER, even right after it came out. Medal of Honor H2 I own and rocks, but don't play it as much)

Metroid Prime 3 is NOT an Fps for the last time, and In my Opinion, I say CoD: WaW, but for Online, I say MoH:H2.
You lost me on that one.[QUOTE="WiiMan21"][QUOTE="MonsieurX"]Metroid Prime 3.Jaysonguy

Yes it is
IDK if it is one. The other Metroid Prime games weren't, but this one does have a lot more.
You can try 007 Quantum of Solace or Red Steel or Metroid Prime Trilogy for Local Multiplayer.
But as for the BEST FPS on the Wii it would be Metroid Prime 3 or Modern Warfare Reflex or The Conduit.
Whatever's your Cup of Tea.
OH and there's WaterWarfare for the WiiWare Service too.

Sure, and Ocarina of Time is a Hack and Slash.
Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 for TC.
Metroid Prime is at heart a first person shooter. Sure it has action/adventure elements such as the third person view when you transform into the ball and heavy emphasis on exploration but nonetheless, Metroid Prime has all the necessary elements of a first person shooter to be categorized as a sub-genre to First Person Shooters in result still counting as a first person shooter. Now if we were talking about Fallout 3 or something you could argue that it's not a first person shooter, but anything like Deus Ex: Invisible War, Metroid Prime or Borderlands fits the bill for first person shooter. Just my two cents.[QUOTE="gulfo"]

I am strictly speaking about Metroid Prime 3. I have not played the others so I cannot judge, but I feel adamant about MP3 being a first person shooter.:x Half-Life 2 is a first person shooter.Gents, Metroid Prime is a First Person Adventure just like Half-Life 2.
Anyways my vote is MoH2: Heroes for MP and CoD:WAW for SP.

It tells an immersive story, has puzzles to solve, and obstacles to avoid aside from shooter aspects. First Person adventure is what it is :P
