The 3 truths of MKwii online.

1. There will always be some dillweed who votes for rainbow road every time...even if you just played that course.

2. Everyone from Japan is amazingly good at the game.

3. When voting, you will wait for the last guy to vote. You will wait, and wait, and wait, and wait.....and it will be a random vote. Why'd it take so long to not make a decision?

I think 3 is done on purpose to as a way of masking a stream of data. Japanese players are not always excellent, why would you think that, I have powned many (they tend to be on I the morning in the UK). If anything my fellow Europeans are as they have had the game the longest ;)

Truth is it makes little difference now as all regions are well seasoned with the game, it's down to indvidual skill now, certainly not nationality.

Anyway, something I've noticed is that people registered as guests kick butt more often than you'd think.

Number 3 can be explained most of the time.. after a race it is time to get the soda or bathroom.. if you leave it without picking in enough time it will default random for that player.Sabin55

Everyone I have raced from Japan usually arent that good, but then I check the worldwide rankings of the time trials and they absolutely dominate them, with Europeans usually coming slightly behind.

Haha I've never actually thought deeply into the last one, makes sense now.

Also, it's courses like Rainbow Road that easily make Mario Kart the most fun and exciting racing series ever. People need to stop complaining and actually practice it. But playing it over and over, yeah that can be annoying for any long stage.

QFT. I love racing on every course in Mario Kart, really. But when I do the same course 3 out of the last 4 races, it get's boring quickly. Doesn't matter WHICH course it is.

Don't forget that Japan has had MK Wii out a lot longer than in the states ... so they've had a couple more months to master it. On release day, Eu and Japan dominated, as they'd been playing a while already, Japan longer than Europe.

As for Rainbow Road ... I had to learn to pull my finger off the accellerate button in places, now only fall off much if I've had beer. Rainbow Road Mirror mode can be hilarious, especially for folks in poor handling vehicles.

If you don't fall off rainbow road you are guaranteed to come in the top 4. Almost everyone falls off. Just drive calmy and drift is safer places. I drift everywhere because I have practice but you just need to get use to it .

Japanese players aren't always good. I remember thinking that sterotype when going against some but I just ended up disapointed.Potat4o

I will agree with that, but you have to admit that koreans are gods at starcraft :p

You forgot the fourth reason. In battle mode someone always picks Funky Stadium!!!!:evil: And I have actually seen some pretty lame Japanese people.:lol:

1) There is nothing wrong with Rainbow Road... But it is unnecessary to vote for it right after you've just had it.

2) That's why I only play continental.

3) If the person doesn't vote within the time limit, it will automatically make him a random vote.

Now for a truth of my own... If you choose Worldwide, the majority of people will be from Japan.

#4) In a battle mode, at least 1/3 of players (Including Myself) Will always pick Funky Stadium.

I think I'm the first person to disagree with all of TC's statements. Rainbow Road is kind of rare, the 2nd is true to an extent, but there are a lot of noob Japanese players, and the random vote is hardly picked for the last players. But that's my experience, which is quite a lot btw.wiifan001

I think I have yet to play online and not have to play Rainbow Road at least once.
