If there was a handheld soul calibur it would probly be on the psp.stupdgenius8923
Yeah, probably... but hey, the DS is selling better, so maybe that would make developers give it a second glance. It would really be awesome to have a DS SC game though, as long as the possible touch-screen controls weren't too annoying or out-of-place (or they could just ignore them entirely).

Agreed. But it would be even better if games like soulcalibur, tekken, ext' were made for ds
In my experiances, fighting games on handheld systems usually stink. There has been maybe two expections to this, but I wouldn't hold out hope over soulcaliber being another. rgsniper1
but gundam seed for the ds is good for a handheld fighting game

I agree, I think it might be a bit difficult to do all the attacks using the touch screen...
J!US and Bleach DS are good fighting games. too bad they're only in japan.
I don't think that fighting games are would be that bad. If they put a bit more effort into making a game, then it would probably suceed.
i remember reading an announcement for soul calibur for the ds (at two places actually),one of the older game in the series was supposed to be made a port out of..
but it has just been quite since that time, either it got cancelled silently ,or it was a rumour

yeah your right 2. but maybe they'll add a lil somethin somethin to make it successful
Who knows - although really it wouldn't surprise me seeing a Soul Calibur Legends on the DS since that is coming for the Wii... but who knows, that would be a good game. The DS doesn't really have any stand out fighting games does it?nishamuffypuppy
no not really. but yeah your right it would be cool. "who knows"
[QUOTE="justin4444"]I love nintendo ds but I think fighting games are bad on it.
Like dragon ball z SS 2

Haven't heard of Jump Super Stars and Jump Ultimate Stars? The best fighting game for DS and its said to be very great especially if you're an anime addict.
oh yeah i forgot, but imagine soul calibur in DS... eh?

Yeah, I'd see it more likely coming to the PSP as well. I'm not sure how playable/pretty it would be on the DS.
If there was a handheld soul calibur it would probly be on the psp.stupdgenius8923there IS a soulcalibur for PSP. and making a DS one is an even worse idea than a wii one. no offense, i love my DS too, but the controls wouldnt work in a fighting game. BTW *suddenly realizes the date of the original post* AW COME ON, STOP BUMPING OLD THREADS!!!!! anyways, congratulations for the TC for being the first person i've seen in a looooooong while (possibly the first person ever, after me) that actually knows that its "soulcalibur", not "soul calibur".
