i have an original ds from a while ago, and recently the right shoulder button has stopped working entirely. when i called she said i had two options: buy a new ds for $20 less than store price, or repair it for $70. neither are great options :(. i wish the woman had been mean so that i could've claimed i would switch to sony products, but noo i get a nice person lol. anyways, i think ill just leave it broken, at least i have my wii instead right?

Sounds like a good opportunity to get a lite. Besides, you can still play a ton of games without the R button -- I wouldn't pay $70 just for a repair, I could buy a new one for that price around here :| (Counting the $15 trade in for my old one).

Same thing happened to me. Just lift up the button ( lightly) with your finger and blow into it.

Saves you 70$

Buy a lite. They're way better. 20$ less is a pretty good deal.

Not only is this something that a child would try to pull, but don't you think they've hear this all the time?
