The DS Lite is very good, certainly worth the investment. Brighter screens, better battery life, bigger stylus, smaller size, etc. The only bad thing about the DS Lite is that GBA games stick out just a little. Besides that, the DS Lite is heaps better and worth the extra money. :)
ok. ive played a regular and i own a lite. on a lite, all the games look a lot more vibrant and nicer. they show everything about the games off more. Also, the battery life is much longer, and it fits in your pocket better. As for the weight, does anybody really care about those 3 oz? anyway, i would either trade in ur old ds and get a lite cheaper, or buy one off ebay. I would recommend it though. it will make the games seem much much better. hope this helped. pm me if u need to know anything else.
It depends, the ds lite is definetly better in an aesthetic way, however if u just want to game, and u dotnt care about people watching you get the original...seeing as its cheaper as well...
i don't see how almost the same exact system could be worth spending another 70 bucks on. (counting your trade in for the old DS and purchase of a DSL from Gamestop). a tad bit smaller and lighter doesn't really make a difference to me, nor a tad bit brighter light. other than that, its the same system. if you didn't already have a DS, yeah, i'd spend the extra 10 bucks in getting a DSL, but having to replace ur DS is gonna cost about 70 bucks and is not near worth it IMHO.
