I am thinking of buying a wii, but i wanted to know whether the price might be dropping any time soon?

And just out of curiousity, how much could i get if i traded in a gamecube at EB?

With demand this high don't expect a price drop any time soon.

As for you GC, I think EB/Gamestop will give you $10-$20.

Price might drop in a few months :D

As for GC dont sell it its not worth it they will only give you $10-20 (probally less than that and your GC has to be in perfect conditon to get above $15  )

I'm pretty sure I heard there will not be any Wii or DS price drops this year.

I say keep your GC and buy a Wii when you have the money. It seems like a lot of people (me included) are getting their GC memory cards corrupted while using them with the Wii. I don't know why, but i've seen it enough to regret selling my gamecube.

With the high demand, Nintendo would be pretty much retarded to have a price drop. These things are selling like candy. Haven't you noticed that the Wii is sold out, like everywhere? You can only buy them off of craigslist or ebay, or used at most places like Amazon. And $250 for the Wii is very cheap as it is. I dont see it happening.

Dream until your dream come true!

Okay back on topic: Why/how do Gamecube Memory Cards get corrupted when playing on the Wii. I really need to know because I am looking to go on a Gamecube shopping spree and don't want to make a stupid investment.

And I know that PS2s get $16 bucks for the trade-in at Gamestop, so Gamecubes are probably around that.
