Pokemon Platinum error or something. NEED HELP PLEASE!

On Pokemon Platinum, in order to get the Chandelier do you have to literally WALK 300,000 steps? Because I moved over 310,000+ steps, but I did not get the Chandelier. Can someone give me some information on why I did not get the Chandelier please?! Thanks

Could be a glitch. If so, that really sucks. =/

See when I look at my step counter it say 310,139 steps but when I go to my Villa there is not a Chandelier on the list. I'll try to take a picture of my step counter

Turns out it said 31,198 instead of 300,000... Any how the Pokeapp is to small to say 300,000 so even if i was i did have 300,000 steps i wouldnt have known
