Pokemon Gold/Silver Remakes or Super Smash Bros DS

What game would you want more? I personally would prefer Super Smash Bros DS because I like the Smash Bros series better then the Pokemon series. I would love Gold/Silver though too it's just i want Smash Bros DS a bit more.

I don't want a repeat of SSBB WiFi happening to ANY game on the same server like how Brawl screwed over Diamond/Pearl. Meaning that Nintendo did a better job handling Pokemon WiFi than it did for the most awaited Wii game that held the title for ~5 years (yes, I'm saying I'm against Brawl).

This is not a "when is SSB DS Coming" or the sort, but rather, a "Which would you rather?" I bet most of us already know it won't be made(Sakurai expressed no interest in it)

Super Smash Bros DS i dont care if it does not come out but Id love Super Smash Bros on the DS.

The problem with a Smash Bros. DS is that graphically, the game would be disappointing. The images wouldn't be as sharp and there'd probably be a bit of frame-rate slowdown. Also, it'd be hard to control movement with a D-pad (similar to using a Wii Remote in Brawl, and we all know how much that sucks). So until Nintendo releases a new handheld, I'd rather see a remake of Gold and Silver. That and I've wanted to see a G/S remake for a while now.superluigi96

I respect your opinion but I have to disagree. I think a Smash Bros. game for the DS would be awesome. The graphics are adequate, just look at Metroid Prime:Hunters. Furthermore, a fighting game could be played just fine on a D-pad. Fighting games did fine before analog sticks.

You can buy Jump Ultimate Stars. It is the best fighter available for the DS

It would be really awesome. Especially since we already have a Pokemon game on the DS. I just wish SSBM would have a story mode.

Why are people voting for pokemon gold/silver remake? That kind of almost angers me. The DS already has a couple pokemon games, not to mention all the GBA pokemon games you could also play. There are plenty of games like pokemon, and why would you want a remake of an old one when you could have a new one with new pokemon(like pokemon platinum)? I REALLY don't understand.

A remake of old pokemon games would be stupid, every one is the same with just more added on anyway. A portable smash bros would be cool though.

The DS will obviously have at least one more generation of pokemon like all of its predecessors. Another thing people have the right to compare console games to handheld. For instance I think Mario Kart DS is better than Mario Kart Wii. Mostly because of its portableness. I can paly with my friends more. Another example is pokemon itself. Nintendo has yet to make a console game that is a good as the handheld version's.
