Where o where is my donkey kong country?? I was psyched to see super mario world get released on monday so that  settled me down for a few minutes, but I just cant help thinking about the almighty donkey kong series. My GF is starting to doubt our Wii purchase considering she wanted it exclusively for DKC.

Anyone heard any more info on when?

Crap is it possible for one of you brits or aussies to email it through the Wii network to me so my gf gets of my back?

Dude, that's completely uncalled for. Completely unneccesary.  But that seems like an awfully big purchase for that one game.  You could have saved yourself about $200 by going and finding an SNES and the DK:C cartridge.  There has been talk though of it coming out soon, so your purchase may be coming soon.

As far as wasting my money, money is really not an issue becasue the Wii is cheap anyway.

I mean really what's 300 bucks good for anyway? 2 nights at the bar? Maybe 1 lady of the night hehe? Big bag of dope and a few bottles of rum?

Also have you guys noticed anything different from the snes version compared to the the Wii VC version or was it ported over fine?

Do you have any other VC games?  So far, all the ports of games have been 100% faithful, with the exception of being able to save GHOSTS in Mario Kart 64.  Everything so far has been exactly like it was in the original down to the framerate problems which give games like SMB their nostalgic appeal.
