I don't know man. Snuggling with a pig might ruin my dude's reputation status in exchange.[QUOTE="Kori-san"]*pets the pig like there's no tomorrow, accidentally scalping the poor animal* Yeah, but if you pet him too much he gets aggravated and knocks you over. When you pet the pig a tune plays and a second after an exclamation point appears when exactly to stop petting him. Sound familiar? That's because its sole purposeis to practice and show you how to time your raw meat on the bbq spit to produce a well-done steak. This is just something people that have been playing the MH series are tricking all the newbies into thinking that its some sort of good luck sequence to produce better rewards on your quest. Sorry guys, you've been wasting your time.
*pet pig for a rathian plate*
*hunt rathian*
*get nothing* DAMMIT!!!!
its so damn hard to get that plate, even with ultra lucky cat....
Ha! I feel like a total noob now. I've pet him so many times and never realized I had to push a button when the ! pops up, lol. Every time I just let it go on until he knocks me down. I always thought it was just a random "does the pig like me today?" thing, lol. This is my first monster hunter game, and I'm not used to all this interaction, lol. Most RPGs are all dice rolls, not properly timed button presses, so I never even thought to do that with the pig. *walks off to stick his head in the sand*When you pet the pig a tune plays and a second after an exclamation point appears when exactly to stop petting him.
