DS is about as powerful as an N64, they pulled off a good port of SM64 and it was as fun as the original.
I never really got a chance to play Majora's Mask and I would really love to play it on a handheld. The 3D world would be amazing.

Not enough buttons.BattleTurtlesThere are definately enough buttons! Touch screen could handle item spots, and B and A for attacking and special, L for lock...

Although it can work, Super Mario 64 proves that you need a analog stick to make it truly work.ASK_StoryBut Zelda games don't have as much platforming elements. And SM64 did a good job of using digital controls and smoothing them out so I think it would work.
SM64 is on DS and Virtual console, go figure.Aren't they both already on the Wii's VC?
If Nintendo released them on the DS they'd have to release every VC game on the Wii to DS. That's why they'll never do it.
You fanboys/girls and your needs. Pfft.

Nope. Sick of ports. Get it on VC or pick up an N64 (they're great). And Nintendo, make me some new game please
Much as I would love to splash on that port (Ocarina), I reckon if ANYTHING it will one day be a Downloadable game you pay quite a bit for.
SM64 is on DS and Virtual console, go figure. Should that be an example I should use? I heard it played terrible on the DS compared to elsewhere. And it's not like we need OoT on the DS. I mean, it may just be me but why would you want to play a game like that on the go? Whats wrong with waiting until you get home to play? =/Aren't they both already on the Wii's VC?

Wow, very nice argument. I can really see why you have this opinion.I never want to see a topic that has the words "port" and "Zelda/OoT" in it again.

That's because it isn't an argument, it's a statement.
I can CLEARLY see why you would say that. Not enough buttons.BattleTurtles
Touch screen = Unlimited buttons, my friend.
Edit:
Forgot to say:
They would make SOOOO much money if they did that, but of course Nintendo will not.
Also, they could make it a DSi exclusive, and make even more money. Also, the DSi is more powerful than the N64 (If I am not mistaken).
