I heartily agree with your statement. I'd rather see a game made from the ground up, though I wouldn't mind seeing an original Metal Gear game on the Wii.

As a matter of fact, I think that an original Metal Gear adventure for the Wii would be an excellent idea.
if that happens ps3 will lose another exclusive and i dont wanna see what happens then,( system wars especially) also i have never played a metal gear solid game and been meaning to play one. is it a good game? oh and i dont think it will come out, the graphics will be hard to put on the wii. :P
Hey how about MGS:3 for the wii. I know its kinda off topic, but Clearly the wii cant handle MGS4 graphics. Plus, they could bring back MGO,which would be a big hit with ppl mourning the end of it last year. I think thats a great idea.
The game wouldnt have to be a direct port, the game could be remade from the ground up for the Wii. However that would require years of development. So its just not worth it in the end.
yay another 'wouldn't it be awesome if (insert game here) was on the wii' thread. On that note, wouldn't it be fun to have a wii version of GTA4, Halo 3 and FF13?
It'd be nice, but it wont happen. It probably couldn't work even after scaling the graphic down ALOT because CQC is just to complex for the wiimote and nunchuck. We might be able to play with it with a gamecube controller, but then we'd just be playing it with a very pretty Gamecube game bassically.
I got a 360, I'd rather it be on that than the Wii.
