I guess some people really enjoy that game. I almost bought it, but I went for Rayman instead. I asked the clerk and she said that MP8 gets repetitive overtime. Was I wrong to trust here lol

He probably feels that people are stupid for buying it so much. Not that it's a bad game, but most people won't change an opinion just because other people disagree with them. If anything it reinforces the original thought, along with "People are ****ing stupid".

Yep. And that's why we will see a Mario Party 9, 10, 11, 12.... People keep buying them and they'll keep churning them out.

and 400.000 of them were sold back because it sucks! sorry guys i was EXTREMELY disapointed in MP8 so i traded it back in

Have to remember the game is meant for multiple people not a single player. People in groups find the games fun hence why the series sells. Get you some beer in you and it's better as well.

It doesn't tell that the game is good. Both PotC 3 and Spiderman 3 are selling well on all platforms.

I bought it for what it is, I need a party game and there is not very choices available yet aside from with Sonic/Rayman. Compared to the other Mario Parties, this one gets old quicker and it is less dramatic.

I bought it-- and love it. Gamespot's score was probably accurate... for the single player portion, anyways. With multiplayer in mind, it has to be at least a 7.5, and that's exactly what it is: a multiplayer, fun, party game.
