I got my surround sound hooked up for the Wii and it sounds great. Its also nice playing old Gamecube games in surround, considering I couldnt with the cube. (mine didnt have the optical port).
Twilight Princess sounds particularly good, especially when you're riding Epona past groups of enemys and you can hear them yelling/attacking behind you as you pass.
