So I've been really excited for the 3DS until I found out that you still need two eyes to see the 3-D effect without glasses. I was born with only one eye.
Anyways I was wondering if it's still worth it to buy one.

of course it will
I will most likely have it turned off majority of the time but nintendo have never done a crappy handheld and I am not counting the machine that shall not be mentioned
Seriously? That blows. Yes it's worth it for the games lineup if you're interested, backwards compatibility, and the virtual console.I was born with only one eye.c00lb1u3
you can always try it out in the store too, but it should be (well, better be) great even without the 3D effects

Well my right eye is perfectly fine but the left one looks, not so great and I can't see out of it. I accept it and I'm just thankful that I'm not completely blind you know.[QUOTE="c00lb1u3"]

The 3D stereoscopic effect is just an extra. The fact that it can be turned off the entire game is proof that it's not a necessity.
Is the DS worth it without the 3D effect? Exactly.
