You are clearly the Fourth Horseman of the Apolycalypse, Death, because you obviously cannot even sense fun.people are acting like these games are a gift from above but i find them mediocre and somewhat boring...im a huge zelda and mario fan but these sequels were dissapointing my friends and i never really got hooked to either games what do u think?

[QUOTE="TacoJelly"]grammer lesson. Are SMG and TP really that great?
and yes, yes they are.
Kuhu
I was just coming in to say that, thank you.
Please tell me that irony was on purpose because grammar has 2 a's in it not 1I really enjoyed Twilight Princess' aesthetic and feel. I couldn't put it down because of that. I'd rank Twilight Princess behind Ocarina of Time as my favorite 3d zelda. I really enjoyed this title lol.
Super Mario Galaxy was beaten within a month. Such a well crafted title as well. I'd say it's my favorite 3d mario title because I pretty much ignored Super Mario 64 when it first came out (I was told lies that Banjo and Kazooie was better!)
i would have to say that Z:TPwas a great game. i thought the story was top notch, and the ending was spectacular. one of the best game endings i've witnessed since... well most other zelda games, but really. i can't say enough about the story and ending. great music, great atmosphere. games don't get much better than that.
hey. banjo kazooie was better than mario 64, don't doubt yourself. lol, i'm probably one of a very few that think that.
SMG? pretty good game. for some reason it hasn't grown on me like i hoped it would. but i loved it nonetheless. best mario music since mario 3 on NES.
Yes. TP was a dissapointment in some areas, but still very great. you must not forget that playing all those zelda games makes it somewhat easier... they made a Zelda for the fans.. they shouldn't have.
Galaxy is one of the very bast mario games ever created imo. For me it comes just after SMB3.
The only gripe i have is the difficulty level. i wiould have liked an optional difficulty setting... it's too easy most of the time. but great it is.
Yes, Twilight Princess deserves all the praise it gets.
Mario Galaxy deserves a lot of praise but doesn't deserve all the praise it is getting.
1. Yes, both games are great and fans of both series should love them
2. You're obviously no fan of either series if you don't like these 2 games.
Mario Galaxy is, i'm interested to here what you thought was mediocre about it.people are acting like these games are a gift from above but i find them mediocre and somewhat boring...im a huge zelda and mario fan but these sequels were dissapointing my friends and i never really got hooked to either games what do u think?

Now if your a big zelda fan, I can see why you say TP is mediocre (I thought it was amazing but not nearly as good as the other zeldas)...so I'll have to see what you say.
I dont know what fans problem with TP is, it had better gameplay than WW and OoT it also has a better story than both, so if you like those two I dont see what there was to not like about TP.SepewrathUmm...no. First off, TP is a complete ripoff of OoT. Almost EVERYTHING you do in TP you did in OoT. The presentation is back in the past. Secondly, it's not as fun. The world is too big with NOTHING to do, less side quests and mini games than OoT, and this is supposed to be a next gen game!..The warping made the horse obselete, the early items like the slingshot and boomerang became obselete, the game was WAY too easy, controls were simplified because of porting to wii, the story was good yes but tedious fetch quests lengthened the game. Hyrule Field was big and all, but too big with nothing in it! All bosses were ridiculously easy requiring no skill, most temples you could blow through without even thinking about it (linear) and it lacked the memorable monsters and design of OoT and WW.
Overall, tons of reasons to why TP is not even close to being better than OoT.
Oh the game was linear too if I forgot to mention that.

Dude I agree with you. I remember there were a whole bunch of TP Vs Oot and WW but every one voted OoT and WW to be better games. If you played all the other Zelda game TP turns out to be a mediocre game to you. It's basically Oot with better graphics + the wore-st Zelda song track ever. There was really nothing wrong with the Mario game other do to the fact you could beat it in a day or 2. It was also the easiest Mario game ever.

i made a mistake i judged SMG without playing enough levels the game is getting better by the galaxies, but my opinion on TP stays the same that game was not what i was expecting
