Yeah there's a billion of Platinum threads, but still.. will Platinum be getting a review from GameSpot or not? I've been checkin back for like the last 2 weeks or so and still nothing, no news on it o anything. I think they already came out with a guide for the game a while ago, so why no review yet?

I'm starting to get the idea that there will be no review at all. It shouldn't take a month to make a review for a Pokemon game. They are lengthy I know that, but I would have expected a review by now.

It is possible to beat all 8 gyms in like 2 days (If you could sit still that long...).

I know it isn't that easy to review something...but it has been so long already.

There is no excuse for how long it taked Gamespot to review new game releases. Sometimes they NEVER review them. That is the definition of inept.

There's not much of a chance of them reviewing Platinum. It's simply a remake of a game they've already reviewed.

Still this is a pretty major title, there's no reason for them NOT to review it, especially since it's a game that will probably score an 8.5 or 9.

They have reviewed like every single other Pokemon game. They reviewed Emerald, for instance, and that was simply a remake of a game they've already reviewed.

It's actually different in many ways. Anyways a game that is #1 on the DS game of the day page for a VERY LONG TIME and has such popularity as Pokemon SHOULD be reviewed by a "GAME" website........or atleast you would think.

This topic has nothing to do with other site's reviews. Besides I don't givea crap about IGN's reviews, they review almost everything anyways.

Good answer. Of course we know we can get a Pokemon game review from hundreds of other game websites. We are talking about Gamespot's poor quality.

lol just because you said that i'll add something just because I don't think this is the end of the topic... GameSpot at least needs to say something about it, I meen you can't just leave an AA or even AAA game unreviewed. If they reviewed Emerald, then why not Platinum? I know I mentioned that somewhere but still.

GS is biased against Nintendo they put Sony and Microsoft first, so reviews of Nintendo games are put before the 360 or the PS3 in terms of priority.
