It's worth while to have every system, especially the current generation of consoles.

I am happy that the Wii isn't the only console I own.

I think it's best to have two systems this gen to ensure you get a variety of games. I'm loving a PCWii combo at the moment.

I think it depends very heavily on you as an individual. If you only like playing games every once and a while and there are a couple games on the 360 you want, then it's probably not worth it. If you like to play games all the time and there are lot's of games on the 360 that you want, then it is probably worth it.

I would recommend it. I want a 360 too. But all that I have is $3 saved up:P. I'm still looking for a job though. I'll get one once I have a job.

Every system has something on it worth playing. How worth it however, depends on the individual.

360 has a strong library of games, so I'd say it's worth it.

That's why I spent a little money and upgraded my computer, so that I could play the 360 games that I wanted on my PC instead. Besides, if I bought a HD system, I'd want to get a HDtv first.

It's definitely worth it to have either a pc, 360, or a PS3 in addition to the Wii. They all have such a diverse catalogu of games that you're bound to find something that you like. I would strongly advise that you get an HDTV if you buy a 360 as otherwise the text is tiny and hard to read. Also consider if you have enough time to play both systems. Right now I have a Wii, GC, DS, pc, and a 360 and only really have time for DS gaming.

A PS3 or 360 is fine as a second console. Keep your options opened as far as gaming goes...the Wii doesn't have some great games, same goes for the other systems (PS3 and 360 semm very similar to me as far as choices of games, not really into the exclusive thing). Two console is a great idea.

More like impossible, I played Dead Rising on a SDtv and I almost went blind, trying to read that text. But yeah like everyone said, if your a heavy gamer and there is more than 10 games you want to play on another system, then if you can get it. I have a Wii and a PS3, so I can play Mario, Zelda, Disaster(if it ever comes to America) Monster Hunter 3, the Conduit etc, and on the PS3 I will be getting Little Big Planet, Prototype, already have things like Uncharted and MGS4. Lastly I want to get a 360 to get games like Gears2, the new Splinter Cell, Ninja Gaiden and a bunch of other games. Even though this gen there are alot less exclusives to go around, the ones that are exclusive are usually titles not to miss, so you need all the consoles.

Im doing the exact same thing. It seems like the only really cool wii titles are Nintendo games and they only come out with new games every 3 or 4 months so I would get a 360. Good luck neglecting wii sports 2:P

I think multiple systems are great. I have a Wii and a PS2 so there is always something to play. I would love a PS3 or 360 but I can't justify the cost. I always used to think 360 was a useless system but lately I have been changing my mind with all the RPGs coming out and PS3 not having that great of a lineup announced.

That is what i have, you don't miss much, but 360 and PS3 are just water-down PC anyways.

oh yeah. definately. im a PC/Wii guy mostly myself. i use both of them quite alot. there are areas where the wii is sorely lacking (like FPSs) + the other platforms offer a different experience to the wii. having a wii and another console offers the best of both worlds.

I say it's worth it. If you have the extra cash and the system you want has a few games out and coming out that you want to play then go for it. I have a Wii and recently got a PS3. Admittely there are not many games I'm willing to pay $60 for but there are a few that are worth it and as prices come down on games I pick up other titles as I go along.

I've got a Wii and a 360, it's good having both, you get the best of both worlds. My Wii has been getting a bit neglected as of late but that's just because there are a lot of awesome 360 games that I need to catch up on.

Says who. My friend has a 360 and a wii and he plays his wii for about 2 weeks straight when cool games come out. It seems to me that wii games have bigger hype and are funner the first time you get them buy they don't last as long.

You will want to get all 3 at some point. They all have their faults as well as strengths. And to the A**holes that said The other 2 systems are just watered down PC's get over yourselves. Not everyone has got 800 dollars to buy all the crap you need for a gaming PC. To the guy who said that the PS3 lineup is crap and to the lack of RPG's comment. Only 2 RPG's on 360 are actually any good. Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery, Too Human, and others were not that awsome. Other than Fable 2 and Gears of War 2 what does the 360 even have really? I am not trying to knock it, but the 360 this year is nothing like last year. Just because a system has more games does not make it better.

Anyway the hit games this year for each system are as follows

Wii

Warioland

Tales of Symphonia 2

de Blob

Star Wars Forced Unleashed

360

Tales of Vesperia

Fable 2

Banjo Kazooie

Gears of War 2

PS3

Socom

Little Big Planet

Motorstorm 2

Valkyria Chronicles

Resistance 2

multiplats

Mirrors Edge

Fallout 3

Call of Duty World at War

Mega Man 9

Dead Space

Sonic Unleashed

Star Wars (I put it in the Wii section because I heard it was actually the best version)

I'd say yeah.

The Wii does only get a few really really good games,

So supply your gaming needs on one console until the next big Wii game comes out

deadeye_005

I am having the same problem. I want a 360 for the really great games like , Halo, Gears, GTA, COD4, Creed, and I'll stop because I have a long list.

Well they did just cut prices of 360's so maybe next month I'll buy it as a gift for my little brother's bday but actually play it myself.

The Great Debate inside myself continues..

There are always going to be at least 7-10 games exclusive to a system (to say the least) that are worth purchasing so if you have the free time and the money then yeah it's worth it.
