If SSB. came out for DS...

and you could only have 18 characters. Who would you choose?

All of the original characters plus Marth, Bowser, Ganondorf, Falco, young Link, and Mewtwo.

EDIT: Actually, screw Mewtwo, playable Meta-Ridley ftw! Dark Samus would be OK too. I just don't want to load up on Metroid characters.

these threads stopped for a while, but they're back. The screen is too small, the characters would be tiny. It just wouldn't work.

Clearly, if you think a SSBM style game wouldn't work, you've never heard of Jump Ultimate Stars, which i might add is better than SSBM.

You start with the following 12:

-Mario

-Donkey Kong

-Link

-Samus

-Yoshi

-Kirby

-Fox

-Pikachu

-Capt. Falcon

-Ness

-Zelda / Shiek

-Peach

Then you can Unlock the next six throughout the game:

-Falco

-Bowzer

-Luigi

-Young Link

-Ganondorf

-Roy

Being an aime fan, I probably wouldnt play SSB DS much anyway, because JUS would kill it imo. 300 animecharacters!

Wait.... Jump: Ultimate Stars has 300 characters? That is insane....

thats kinda a misleading statement, because although, yes, there are 300 character cards, only about 40 of them are fully playable.

JUS is also 2d, as opposed to SSB which has been always 3d so far
