I am really enjoying it. Well I'm a big MK fan so I guess that's no surprise. Did anyone else buy it and enjoy it. I had never even touched the Xbox or PS2 versions so it was a completely new MK game to me.
It feels like deception but it is still cool and there is heaps of ppl to play with and the Mortal Kombat Kart racing is alrite aswell i cant play it good with the wiicontrol that well though so i use the classic control but each to his own.
I love the game to death personally, It may because I haven't played any of the other MK games like Deception and stuff.
But I think its awesome love the controls and being able to use a GC controller to play two player (Since I don't have another wiimote and nunchuk) makes it great with my friends.
to be honest, ive hated every mortal kombat game after the third one, and this one was no exception for me, im glad you enjoy it though, cause i wish i could have, but the wii controls, i thought just didnt work, it shoudl have been completly different thatn from the way it was, i couldnt do like any special moves, they just would never work, they should have made it so punching and kicking was handled with the motions, and the specials with the buttons, the way it was just did not feel right.
i bought the xbox version a while ago and i really enjoyed it on that but i read somewhere that the controls for the wii version were really unresponsive but i guess not!. I like the kart racing alot and think that its really fun to play. The game would have been perfect if the fatality system wasnt so homo
I got the game last month and have really enjoyed it, surprisingly. I'm a big MK fan and thought the controls would be kind of wonky at first and they were, but with all of wii games once you figure out what the controller is looking for you can kick anus in no time. My biggest problem was that no one ever told me about fatalities! there are like 30 different moves for the kreate-a-fatality system. overall if you like Mk and haven't played this anywhere else, pick it up and enjoy.
Deception had a much better fighting systen than Armageddon. It was more fun too. The only thing Armageddon had going for it was the Konquest mode and Create-a-Fighter.
Its not worth buying for me. I rented it multiple times, but its not what it should be. It feels way to simlar to deception, and the fatality gestures barely work. I can only kick a guy in the nuts properly :lol: (Hint: to kick a guy in the balls hold B and do a lower half circle towards opponent :P)
I wanna buy it, but becase of the amount of charaters to choose from, does the fighting system feel like or been improved over deception?

The fighting system is simplfied. Only one fighting style and weapon so the combo are cheaper and the aerial combo are all the same. For me, Deception was better.
I love it. I was pretty excited when they announced they were porting it over to the wii. I never played the ps2 or xbox version so thats why I was excited. Any mk fan with a wii should definitly get it.
