i keep an eye out for samurai warriors chronicles. it gets pasted in reviews for being more of the same (which is a fair complaint) but i havent played a game in the series yet so that dosnt apply to me. apparently there is quite a bit of content in it and its a goodun for what it is. i was just reading up on heroes of ruin also. i thought that was due this year but it lookes like another early 2012 release. a shame...it would be perfect for the 3DS right about now. its lookig good though. but yeah...at the mo the 3DS still has a games problem. all i can really suggest is have a look at the estore and see if there ar any gems in there you havent played before. the 3DS line up is looking very nice later in the year and early next year with the likes of MK7, luigis mansion, RE:R, mario land 3D, animal crossing and heroes of ruin. but there not due today sadly :(.
This. I researched the games ahead of time, but those bloodsucking money grubbers got the better of me too. I think this will probably be the last handheld I buy from Nintendo. Especially after that crap they pulled with the $80 price drop. Sure we get free games that are 20 years old, but even that doesn't make up for the price difference. I would have rather just gotten a cupon for a free game and chosen one myself. I'm seriously considering about selling mine and getting a PSP Vita.
Dude, the 3DS isn't even a year old. More games will come with time.

yeah considering theres alot of good games out for it in succesion it seems people dont remember the ds launch, it was bad. mario 64 was what kept it alive for me before i sold it for a psp ended up buying a ds lite when it gained momentum. It will happen again
I'm looking forward to Mario Land 3D. You should check out Pilotwings. I thought it was a really fun game and the 3D effect is impressive. People say it's short but I still got close to 20 hours out of it and still play it randomly sometimes.
I've been enjoying Rayman 3D and Ocarina of Time, I'm really surprised that Rayman 3D didn't receive better reviews tbh..particularly when you consider that there are several instances of things appearing to pop out of the screen. Ocarina of Time's 3D is more depth based as far as I've seen but I'm only an hour into it.

At first I thought he meant piracy, then I realized it was another annoying"I bought a 3DS" thread. There's nothing you can do now; just do what @Minishdriveby did: Keep it in the box until November.
i bought my Nintendo3ds the day after the price drop and had no games for it so i bought super mario land on the eshop and that game lasted me for a month before i bought resident evil the merchanaries 3d
The blockbuster titles aren't out yet, but if you can't find a handful of games to enjoy that's your own problem. Even without a 10.0 rating I have enjoyed Ghost Recon, Tetris, Street Fighter, Zelda, SMT Devil Survivor, and a few others.
