everyone is saying the biggest problem with the headset would be where to connect it. well the wii has 2 usb ports- couldnt they make a wireless adapter, plugged into the usb, and then the headset would work in that way.

Or connect it right to the Wii remote or just make it connect off of Bluetooth.

There's just one flaw to that statement. Nintendo doesn't no how to deal with their online capability.suitmypants

They will learn sooner or later.

They should just use Bluetooth.

lol it'd be stupid if it was a wired mic, connected to the Wii :P.

They seriously need to think about Bluetooth though :).

Wired would never work. Imagine when Mario Party 9 or 10 goes online and you're frantically moving around in a minigame. It'll be horrible. Bluetooth or wireless USB would work, but the USB is in the back of the console so I don't know how great the reception would be.

I really hope a headset comes out. If it doesn't I will have a bad time playing some games that have co-op that require strategy... like Batallion Wars.

Bluetooth headset is the only way to go. Unless there's a connector between the Wii-mote and nunchuck, which would be awkward, that's the only option.

Why can't they just do what Xbox did? Sync a wireless mic to the wireless controller. Nuff said problem solved.

or at least mak it connect 2 the controler from the bottom. I no wat ur thinking then u can't use the nunchuk, but why no make a tiny cube that connects 2 the bottom and has a wired headset attached 2 it and the end of the tiny cube would hav another jack for the nunchuk making it go wiimote+mic+nunchuk i mean i think thats the cheapest solution since it would b all wired

But do you want that? I don't want two wires coming out of the Wii-mote myself. Bluetooth.

The least wires I need connected the better. I understand why Nintendo decided to go with wires for the nunchuck and Classic controller (fewer batteries) but wires for the headset is just too much. Not only that, having a connector between the Wii-mote and nunchuck would just bring unnecessary bulk and flimsiness.

They should've put one out at launch, or when PBR came out. It's not tht hard.

I'll bet that they weren't sure if they really wanted to. You know they made friend codes for safety and they probably thought that a headset would be the opposite of what they wanted. I don't know if they will ever get over this.
