Have Zelda TP, should i get Zelda Ocarina of time, too?!

tell me this... do you think it is ok to get both the newset version and virtual console version of a game?

for example, does anyone have both mariokart wii and mariokart 64 on their console... or mario galaxy and mario 64, etc

You definitely should get it. Some will argue against, but most of the answers you will hear here will tell you to get this game because it's one of the best games ever. I'm part of that group as well by the way. :P

As for the other part of your question, each new entry into a selected franchise is different from the last, so most people should own most entries in the franchise. For example, I own all the Mario Karts except for the SNES one. Each one is different and an enjoyable experience that I don't mind owning.

I got this VC game, hearing a lot of good about it (I never played the N64 Zelda's), and I regretted my purchase. I barely played it at all--In fact, I play SMB3 (500 points) a LOT more than Ocarina of Time. If you want more bang for your buck, go for NES or SNES purchases.

No, I bought It for the Gamecube, when it came out. After playing Twilight Princess, I didn't really enjoy OoT. I mean, after seeing the graphics of Twilight Princess, and getting used to them, It didn't really feel right. It hurt my eyes, lol.

But graphics don't mean a good game. Many people have enjoyed this game, and call it the best Zelda. I don't like it, but that is no reason you wouldn't! Go ahead, enjoy Zelda: OoT! :D

I'd say get it although it hasn't dated as well as some games graphically. If you had played it back in the day I guarantee you would have loved it. If you can see past it being an early 3d game that is ten years old it is still a great game. It is still my favorite game of all time.
