Probably, unless it has an internal battery lol also, you might need to remove the battery for a while before the reset happens....

Its getting out the screws that giving me problems; the screwdriver just tuwns in the screw socket without it actually catching and turning the screw. Yes, it is the right size; I just bought the screwdriver today.

It shouldn't. I took out the battery from the DS and it kept the sittings. I'm pretty sure there's an internal battery on deeper inside the machine that keeps the sittings.

Try doing it again if you still have it.

When I took my battery out, only my date settings were reset. No big deal.

So did the Mii or anything else get erased besides the date?

No. All the Miis I had from the Wii were still there. My Mii Plaza progress was still saved. And my online profile was not effected. I just had to change my time again and I had a chance to get another 10 coins. :) (oh yea, your playcoins are the same too).

To try to reset the system in order earse everything. but I figured out how to erase evrything, Mii included. Go to System Settings, and go to Format System settings, which allows you to go back to the factory settings and erases evrything for you.
