See, games are inanimate objects. They have no life of their own. That means one game cannot kill another game because they're both not alive. Not even that but a game doesn't have any limbs therefore it's impossible for one game to attack another.

The game will not sell well.

Other games will beat it when it comes to sales

You're probably right.

But, on the other hand, a game like Boom Blox sold relatively poorly on its opening week, but over time it has sold almost half a million. Keep in mind that most of these sales are through word of mouth, and De Blob looks like a similar, fun experience that anyone can play. I wouldn't be surprised if, after a price drop, the game sold over 300,000 copies in its lifetime.
