It's the second year of club nintendo, anyone get platinum status yet?

Right now i'm at gold with 190 coins to go until reaching platinum status.

Any of you think that Nintendo will release any of the "Big 3" before the end of the club nintendo year?

What do you want to be this year's platinum reward?

I have 500 coins and I was platinum last year,,,

I have 50 or so and was platinum last year. I'm being strategic with my point earnings. I don't want to complete every survey now so that when they announce prizes for platinum members I'll know whether or not I want to earn those points for this year or for next year.

but they announce the prizes after the club nintendo year is over. the club nintendo year ends at like june 30th and they announced the rewards in august

I have no idea honestly.

I think they should me 1 of two things for the plat gift. It should either be a Metroid that has glow in the dark innards or a wall mount of the shield on Link's wall in WInd Waker. A third kind for you phoenix Wright fans could be a huge poster that says "OBJECTION!!!"

If you register your Nintendo (Wii/Dsi)games onClub Nintendo thenyou'll get coins, 50 coins for each Wii game and 30 for each Dsi game, I think. You can also get 10 extra coins if you register the game within a certian amount of time from the release date (I think it's two weeks) There's also survey's that you can do, for 10 coins each. And you can use the coins to get rewards and also if you get enough coins to reach Gold (300-599) or Platinum (600) within a Club Nintendo year then you'll get a special reward :)

So much for my plan now. Is there a way to see how many I added in this year alone? I spent all my coins on the Game and Watch Collection but don't know how many coins this year I contributed to that fund.

click on "My Coins" on the top and then when you scroll down you should see something on the left that says "elite status coins for 2010"

I am pretty sure that you don't have to save your coins to get the platinum member level reward at the end of Nintendo's fiscal club year. You can spend them however you like and if you've reached platinum level, you get the reward on top of what you spend your "coins" credit on.
