How'd you do it? It shocked mine and I needed a firmware update. Were you able to listen to music through the iPod on the Wii too? Nope, but mine, as long as it is connected to the electricity starts charging! There is even one Usb/wallplug adapter for it!

I'm gonna be fair here, I don't have a iPod, I have a Creative Zen, but I'm pretty sure, that for charging, they only need a power supply! Try connecting it to the console and then turning ON the console!
yeah there is one slight problem, not all usb ports have the same power supply but I have no idea about the wii ones, so listen to the guy who's done it!

Hopefully they'll add a music channel sometime down the road. Being able to listen to CDs on the Wii would be nice too.
yea maybe like the original xbox where you can put music from your cds onto the memory but still it should have ipod capabilities thats one reason I love the 360 plug r in and listen
