I think vc games are way over priced 1000 points are way to much for a n64 game is too much i can buy a decent last gen game for that

and there are alot of snes games i want and there out of wack i have wii points left over when i buy them and its annoying to put another 1000 wii points on to buy a game i need 100 points for

I agree, if I buy 2 SNES games thats 1600 points and i would have 400 points left which is pointless cuz i cant buy anything. I think they should drop the games by 200 points or more. Or maybe they can work out a buy 3 get 1 free:D

The advantage is that with a Virtual Console game you have a copy that will last forever because you own one copy that's held forever in your own online storage area provided by Nintendo.

The drawback is that these games are already owned by a lot of people.

While it costs Nintendo next to nothing to bring these games to the consumer (it's almost all profit) they're worth it. Of course how much they're worth it depends on each person's situation (owning the game beforehand, having a working system, room to have the consoles, etc)

The Virtual Console makes Nintendo too much money for them to stop. Even with people bringing over their games from the last console Nintendo still will make money hand over fist on the titles.

That's one of the last things you should worry about.

I look at it this way: 1. It's nearly impossible to track down any good VC games in my area.

2.They are insanely overpriced. Last time I saw SM64 at a Gamestop it was $20.00. I **** you not.

3. It's far more convenient for me to have all my classic games on one system instead of three.

Yeah I knew about the rest. I mean sure I get get Turok for the Gamecube for less then 8 bucks this week but I'd much rather pay the two extra bucks for Paper Mario.

Last time I saw N64 games in a store, the good titles were selling for over $10. Especially the more recent ones.

I'd prefer a smaller price for VC games, but I don't consider them expensive.

I don't have any price issues except fot the nes games. They are WAY over priced IMHO.I think they should only be $1-$2 like buying a song from itunes. the reason I say this is because it is so easy to get them for free and i don't think it is worth it to pay $5 just to have it on wii. I don't mind paying for the tg-16 and n64 games as those are either more expensive or impossible to find.

If no one was buying VC games, Nintendo would have lowered the price by now.People must think VC prices are fair enough.

That's what people say to make themselves feel better about being thieves. When you pay Nintendo to download their games onto the VC, you're buying a license to play them on the Wii. You're not buying a license to play them on the PC.

I dont think they are overpriced... the VC isnt made so you can play every single older game. buying them is an investment just like getting any other game. If you dont know its a good game yet then do some research before you make the purchase. Some games are even cheaper then getting them somewhere esle. You can get Toe Jam And Earl on the VC for $8 but if you tried to find a used copy of the original it would cost you $30 (plus you would have to get a genesis to play it if you didnt have one). This allows people to play older games without having to have the system. $10 isnt bad for a game if you pick the right ones that are fun and give you a good amount of gameplay.
