yer my favourite sidekick for online play is probably toad because I always run at the goalie and do his little flipping jump thing and run into the open goal.
I play it quite a lot still. My favourite side kick is probably dry bones or birdo. Dry bones is unstoppable when you get chance to do his special shot, aswell as birdo if you have space.
My fav is toad. I use him a lot as a real playmaker.... he can single handedly charge the ball from red to white with his jumping ability and confuses the heck out of defenders and then there is his mid-air pass...
