I have been a huge fan of the Smash Bro's games since before I was 10. I played it almost religiously every weekend when I would go to my friends house to hang out. And I was counting down the days until Brawl came out (through the billion delayed releases). But with the announcement of a Smash Bro's on the 3DS I have to wonder... "Will it do the series justice?" I eagerly anticipate the new content but I can't see gameplay being as serious as it was on the gamecube and wii. (With serious amounts of clicking from the controller, really getting into it) That sounds like it would be very difficult to do with the DS analog pad and buttons. Am I overthinking it? Can anyone help put my mind at ease?
I'm pretty sure it'll be a solid game :). Now the question shouldn't be will it be good, but rather will my 3DS survive the onslaught of hours of Smash Bros. gaming xD. I feel like I might snap my 3DS in half when I play xD.Â
Still, I don't feel like I will buy it. I know the stages will be different, and probably a few other things as well, but with the purchase of the Wii U game - which I will surely buy - I don't feel like I will need another Smash Bros. :P
I still think Super Smash Bros 64 is an incredible game. I have faith in Sakurai and will be day one'ing both versions of this game, as I will with Sonic Lost World.
I had similar worries. I still worry if the game will have lag with all of the smash bros random action! or if the stages will be really cheap. Either way I sold my Wii U a long time ago and am going 3DS all the way! (I wouldn't have If it wasn't going to be for the 3DS). I have high hopes for the 3DS version now days though and I hope to be one of the best players on the 3DS version!Â

ok do more people own a 3DS or Wii U? LOL the 3DS is nintendos biggest console going in North America & Japan, so to think the 3DS version will not be great, if not better then the WiiU version is crazy talk.
It'll probably be fun. I have no interest in it, though, since the Wii-U will have the better version, and Smash Bros. is meant to be played with local multi-player, which is way more awesome on the TV.
