Hotel Dusk Room 215 was an awesome game, 15 hours long.

Except I had to look at gamefaqs when I was stuck a couple of times.

Definitely Advance Wars, once you start a battle you'll soon be looking at your watch and realize 45 mnutes hase passed, and so on.

If you're into SRPG's, Front Mission.

You already have some time consuming games, which is great, as long as you aren't bored of them.

FFTA2, as some have suggested, will defiently keep you busy past your trip if you like it.
