I'll say $249, a bit expensive for a handheld. but it's the only kind on the market so they'll take a little off the top! Around here is $129 for a DS, $170 for a DSi, so $249 for a 3DS sounds about right for what they'll sell it for.

You're a fool if you believe that. Nintendo isn't Sony, they're not gonna sell their handheld at such a high price.
They've never even had a home console sell for that price. So, no. That's a bit harsh. That's an Australian site and therefore uses Australian dollars. When the DSi came out it was $299. So that's not too unbelievable. For the Autralian market. DS games in Australia are $69.95. =/
I think it will be $299.99 The brand spanking new DSi and DSi XL were the same price so I think a brand spanking new 3DS will cost the same. -fcppatterson
$200 is how much it will cost. Nintendo will sell it for a small gain at first, then as millions start buying it within 6 months the cost of manufacturing it will deplete leaving them with a huge gain on each and they don't even need to adjust the price. Boom instant sell.
If they wanted to be ****s about it though they could put a 300 price tag on it and really throw the world on its head.

I think and I wont change my mind till price for NA is announced, that the price here in america will start at almost $250, if it doesnt sell like hotcakes, which isnt likely, expect a price drop in the first month. or expect Nintendo to make it more appealing like bundles, special limited casings, etc.
