Animal Crossing New Leaf Friends + 300,000 Bells technique

Hey guys. I wanted to make some more friends on ACNL. I am on my 3rd day and I am very successful. I have also learned a technique on the island and I am making 200-300k Bells a day. Im on my 3rd house expansion. I am currently working on Perfecting my town before i set down and tiles for roads. Hmm. While I'm curious to know what the technique is, I feel like it would ruin the whole point of the game, to gradually build your wealth and goods. That's all part of the fun!rubber-chicken

It isnt a cheating technique. It is a legit (work hard for) Technique. It involves catching a lot of bugs. Its not a cheat or hack. I find it pretty fun when i go hunting with my cousin. It has not ruined the point of the game for me because it helps me build income. It just takes hard work like any other thing in the game. Hey we can still be friends and i will never show you the technique. I don't want you to feel like the experience is ruined :(. Im an Animal Crossing Veteran so it doesnt ruin it for me. I would till love to play with a friend.

Also if you have a Town with the ordinence involving money You can sell the beetles and sharks to the recycle shop for about 20k a piece.

I have a random question... can I go into a friend's town even when they're not playing, as long as their gate is open? I want to send them a letter with a present inside, but it seems that I can only do this if I'm in their town (which is really disappointing). I don't want to have to plan to meet up with them to send them a letter, I'd want to go to their town without them knowing.

The gate probably won't be open unless they're playing. Even if you close your DS and put it in sleep mode it cuts wifi connections.RoniHot

I'm gettting 250K+ just from fishing on the island, so I'm good. :)

Still, the more friends the merrier!  Fruit exchanges would be welcome too.  I have peaches and cherries available and hopefully bananas and mangoes in the next few days(they seem to be growing, so I'm hopeful).

The island seems almost broken for how profitable it is (The 1,000 bell fee can easily be made back in one catch) but I've heard there's a lot of mayoral stuff you have to put serious cash into, so it probably balances out.

Yeah, the public works projects are pretty high.  The animals in your town will donate to the cause, but they don't donate very much.  A cobblestone bridge is one of the cheapest at 128,000 bells.

I do the same technique. Its really wild that you can make so much money in one trip. Yesterday I took a trip to the island around 9pm and I got over 500,000 bells in just that one trip. Insane.

Also for anyone wondering, if you want to upgrade your house completely, I think the end cost is 7.5 million bells or around there.
