I usually watch as much as I can, but once they hit fourth string, I tend to know no one so I stop watching.

Luckily, the SD game is going to be on NFLN and I'll get to watch the Denver vs Dallas game for obvious reasons. I heard the Houston vs Dallas game was going to be on CBS, but it looks like it's the eagles and pats instead. Oh well, I'll get to see the best one of their pre-season games, plus Hard Knocks will be awesome.

It's not worth the extra effort, because it won't go towards anything. One extra week for the newbs to get familiar with the rules is all that's needed.

Yes he is. Bush looked good on some plays tho, too bad holding was called twice on his biggest runs.

Arrington had a couple of catches. I was pleased to see Robert Meachem on the field, and he came down with a long pass, and then he had that nice catch and run in the fourth quarter.

Bush's best run was when he had no room to go anywhere, stuck his head down and got four yards.

Very unlike the Bush of the last two years...

Best RB in the NFC currently, I think. AP will more then likely pass him up within the next couple of years.

Westbrook had 2104 yards from scrimmage last year, Peterson had 1609 yards from scrimmage. Westbrook plays in the NFC East who had every team in the top 10 defenses last year and still had more yards then AP. He's not better yet.

Peterson played 3 games vs NFC East in 2007; Westbrook had 4 games vs NFC North. AP started 9 games, was owned in 3 gms (SF, WSH, DEN: combined 34 att for 66 yds), and still had a 5.6 YPA season average. Also, BW needed 40 more carries to reach the magic number of 1,333 rushing yds.
There's no debating Westbrook is the better all-around RB, but Peterson is the superior rushing threat.

Was the debate better rusher or better RB? Yeah, I already know Peterson is a better rusher.. why would I bring up the All-Purpose yards stat if I wasn't talking about all-around back? Come one now. Oh and I'm glad you brought up the games where Peterson blew, two of those teams were among the worst rushing defenses in the league last year, joke.

Best RB in the NFC currently, I think. AP will more then likely pass him up within the next couple of years.

nah I think AP is already better

Westbrook had 2104 yards from scrimmage last year, Peterson had 1609 yards from scrimmage. Westbrook plays in the NFC East who had every team in the top 10 defenses last year and still had more yards then AP. He's not better yet.

I'm sorry, where did I say or imply that I was siding against you? I was pointing out that you're both correct, depending on one's perspective. I mean, all of R. Bush's apologists scream 'hey, he's a decoy and a receiving threat too', yeah that's all good but last I checked -- a RBs primary job description is rushing the ball.

Also, you failed to mention BW had games vs BUF, NYJ & MIA... go check their defensive rankings.
