Rebuilding Year: Gamenights

So I got stuck with the duties of fixing this board, because I actually don't know what Lafi's thought process was. Anyway so I'm gonna work on some changes. Starting with gamenights.

Yeah I know doing them on the spot works better. People in GUFU stick to specific cliques and don't play that much with each other. We don't want to deal with wasdie. Some of you think Tagy sounds like alvin and the b1tchmunks, others can't deal with the fact that Darklink will take one of our jokes and beat that dead horse to the ****ing bones. I get all the excuses. But threads dedicated to one gamenight have worked before.

I think the one thing we struggle with is a lack of format, a lack of knowledge on who's free, and who's down to play some stuff. So this thread is dedicated to coming up with some better ideas. NO we will not have a sticky. I do not like stickies. This board will not have more than one freakin sticky. So other ideas. Go.

We need to post schedules so we know when people are free.

Well, if people are too busy/lazy to get on IRC I'm pretty sure they're gonna be too busy/lazy to submit a schedule or mark their calendars and follow through. Pretty much anyone who is going to participate in game nights is on IRC already, with only a few exceptions.

Maybe we should focus on recruitment or reassembly first. If the idea is that game nights will bring back lost members, I don't particularly agree. Kickstarting this board even further is the only way we might get people back. Then again, maybe a new angle for the game nights chould be inviting old members to play with us? I'm sure plenty of us still have them on our friends lists.

We dont even need game nights. You jackasses just need to accept some party invites when I'm online. Other than Lafi and Mordred, everyone else sucks in that regard.

Well, I'm down for SSX or ME3. We haven't really tapped into those two yet.
