^ MGS was already remade for Gamecube, and we all know how that turned out.
1. Metal Gear
2. Metal Gear 2
3. Who cares?
I would like to see Silent Hill 1 remade for those of us who don't want to spend $50 on a game for a PS1 that doesnt even work anymore.

What do you mean a game that doesn't even work anymore?
1. The original Silent Hill for PS3....and and as added content for the remake, have Cybil's side of the story as a playable secondary campaign.
2. Kid Icarus for Wii....but more of a reimagining then an full out remake.
3. Resident Evil 2 for Wii....with a gameplay style like RE4 Wii Edition.
1. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars remade for the DS
2. Kirby's Dream Land 3 for the DS
3. Crash bandicoot/Toomba/Ape Escape 1

So, out of those three choices, which do you think would be the best remake?
Thanks for posting this I was thinking about making this thread. I don't have any games I would like to see remade for next gen but, rather, series I would like to see continued in next gen.
1. KOTOR (Mass Effect was great but I would like to see a KOTOR 3.)
2. Star Wars: Republic Commando 2 (Common you all know you want to see this.)
3.Star Wars: Battlefront (No I am not obsessed with Star Wars; however, these all happen to be great video games.)
4. Another FPS 007 game.
5. A Wii exclusive Legend of Zelda game.
MINE! 1.Final Fantasy 7 2.007 Goldeneye 3.Illusions of Gaia :)MrArmageddon54Illusion of Gaia what a fantastic game that was. It was called Illusion of Time over here in the UK, though. How would you like it remade - 3D? I'd prefer a sequel, top down view, on the DS perhaps.
Omg Final Fantasy 7 because I am now a Final Fantasy fan and I never got to play that one!! :( :( It's like sooo expensive now so I would LOVE to try that someday.
Another one would be the first 3 spyros. I LOVEDDD those ones soo much. Now Spyro sucks. Lol.
Hmm... maybe Crash Bandicoot as well. Those two were probably my two favorite games from that time... but I was never really a serious gamer till i got older so i don't really know older games too well.
It would be kind of neat to see one of the older mario bros games remade, too.
And I really liked ape escape. It was fun.
1- Dark Queen of Krynn (& trilogy if possible)
2- Baldur's Gate...a sequel/follow-up/alternative story(for example, you could play a harper which made it possible for the child of Gorion to wins, be fooling Sarevok a few times...and running away often).
3- EverQuest, but raid-free.

I'll probably have to go with Final Fantasy VII. If not that one...then either Final Fantasy VII or Final Fantasy VII.

No I think no game on the PS1 deserves a remake (on a PS3) more then Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid, or Metal Gear Solid

Already been done on the GC. MGS can't be allowed to have two remakes when FFVII doesn't even have one. Fair's fair.
Since we're talking about remakes and not sequels, I'd LOVE to see a remake of the original Silent Hill for this gen of systems with the same expansive attention to detail as REmake was for the Gamecube. I wouldn't want to see it at all though if any of the content were to be deprecated. I'd only accept additive changes. In other words, I'd be happy to see puzzles might be shifted around, some stronger enemies, and some more story elements added.
I'd love to see an Americanized VC download for the classic horror RPG Sweet Home. I'd be ok with an additive remake, but I'd be just as happy with nothing more than a good port with a full English translation.
Finally, I wouldn't mind seeing Metroid 2: Return of Samus remade along the same lines as the Metroid Zero Mission remake of the original Metroid. I am not clamoring for it, but I think it would be an interesting addition and would help bring some exposure to the one game in the series that so few seem to have played.
I'd like to see old school SHMUPs remade with new-school modern graphics. Another Gradius, another Raiden, another Ikaruga/Radient Silvergun, another R-Type, etc.
Just any new SHMUP with next-gen graphics would be great.
Also, maybe next-gen Beat-em-ups as well. God Hand was a great last-gen beat-em-up. Maybe a God Hand sequel for the 360 but with better level designs and backgrounds. The battle system was fantastic though.

What do you mean it cannot be allowed? Both games rae made by different companies. It has nothing to do with fairness. The only thing I see is that the MGS remake was on Nintendo when it should of been on the PS2. Final Fantasy VII has no chance of being remade and neither does MGS.

GSU28
1. I thought we were talking about remakes, not sequels.
5. Twilight Princess is Wii exclusive unless you count the gamecube, and every Zelda that will come to the Wii will be made exclusively for the system, not much of a wish.
