If what the above poster said was true, the odd thing was that I found out about this through Penny Arcade, which isn't afraid to talk crap about games they advertise (even if they only advertise games they consider great).
The only reason I believe it is because why would GS say no comment? If I phoned where you work and ask if you got fired when you were still working there, would they say no comment? Doubt it.

Wait if the rumor is false why didnt they just say it right there? Wouldnt Gamespot have responded by now? In fact given the fact that neither Cnet nor Gamespot themselves has commented on anything definitely seems like theres some shady business going on around here. If this rumor turns out to be true, it would really show how shady Gamespot as an entity really is.
What the? Are you serious? Over the review of that crappy game that was spot on? If this is true I don't know if I can trust GS anymore. This is really shady if you ask me. Is this why there was no On the Spot today? Uh oh... this isn't good at all. Clarify plx.
IF this is true it is a very big story. What will the ramifications be for the rest of Gamespots coming reviews?...The rest of the industry? This seems absolutley ludicrous but you never know. The hotspot will sure be less entertaining.
Innocent until proven guilty (in other words, I need more evidence), but this is... disturbing. The fact that there's a rumor about it is actually rather scary.
