If you look at ubisoft biggest game series assassin creed, far cry, splinter cell, watchdogs etc they all have one thing in common you have to sneak around in the games, so whats going on with the developers over there are they a bunch of sneaky guys who sneak around wearing sneakers, why cant they make some action games where you can fight and shoot without spending so much time hiding.

Watch Dogs can mostly play out like that if you want it to. There are some instances where you have to be stealthy, but most of the time you can just run in and start shooting/blowing everything up. Even Assassin's Creed has its fair share of straight up action. But of course being stealthy is going to be a requirement more often seeing as you're playing as an assassin.

And now that I noticed it you mentioned Far Cry... and based off my experience with 3, you rarely had to be stealthy. It was almost always an option, but that game was very action-focused. So really, I don't think you're making a good point here. I'm just seeing it as a weak attempt to bash Ubisoft because it's currently the cool thing to do right now.

Only a few missions in the (FC4) SP campaign required sneaking around. With all the training aids, it should be a piece of cake. Most other missions, you can lay waste on anything that moves.

You can also run and gun in the Shangri-La missions. But, I preferred to stay out of sight and let the tiger do all the work.

Sneaking can be super fun when done well. SC Blacklist is a SHINING example of stealth.

I enjoy sneaking...it adds tension. Games where you survive by being a bullet sponge aren't as tense as one where you are a badass yet still mortal.

Keep it up Ubi.
