Gamespot is always accurate on their release dates because they have connections to pretty much any of the publishers out there. They talk on a regular basis with most of these companies, especially Ubisoft.

Why did they, for 3 months or more, have a Nov 13 release date when it's 14th?

Quite a lot of people were scratching their heads tonight going into Gamestop or EBGames wondering why the game wasn't out on shelves yet.

my local gamestop guy said they were supposed to get them in later in the day (i was there around 1pm) but he wasn't sure, said it had something to do with shipping problems

i'm used to it though, everytime a new game arrives they always get their copies in a little late the day of release, in this case a day short :|

Well that really is odd. I'm reading forums where people have gotten theirs. And yet Wal-mart, Target and Best Buy didn't have it hahah

lol I went all over town hitting about 5 stores. Oh well, I guess I should have done better research. But they all told me the release date was the 14th, and Ubisoft's site says 14th now. So eh.

That weirdness happens a lot, I can remember it way back in the PS1/N64 days. What happens is if the publisher doesn't ship the game out early enough, then most stores won't get them on the release date.

Well the Best Buy near me won't be getting Creed until the 16th so take that for what it's worth.

They give the date the game is supposed to be released for sale.

Whether a dealer has it before hand and sells early (Halo 3) or get it late due to shipping or otherwise is irrelevant.

Here in Greece, it's not unheard of for games to show up a week or more later, even though they're out in the UK. Logistics issues, mostly.

That may be the date the game ships.
