I think it'd be wicked, with next-gen technology and using something like the Unreal 3 engine.

Albeit with no single-player.

Anyhow, I'd love to see a remake.

I'm rarely in favor of game remakes. They rarely end up being good.

Yeah, RE remake was pretty good for GC.

Didn't say that they never work, only that they rarely do.I'm afraid whoever tried to remake this game would decide to add bullet time or some sort of "Bond move" that would ruin the experience.

I read what you posted. I was just pointing out that sometimes it can improve the game.

No they shouldn't even touch it, they should just release it again for no reason.

Perfect Dark Zero was pretty bad as a single player game.  While Viva Pinata is a quality game, I don't think Rare has it in them to make a great fps (didn't some of the , so if anyone remakes Goldeneye, it shouldn't be Rare.  I don't think Goldeneye needs to be remade though.  It was a great game in its day, but nowadays the world suffers from no shortage of quality (and not so quality) first person shooters, so what would be the point?

As far as i know most of the programmer of goldeneye went on to found a different company, they made the timesplitters games. So its rare only in name as far as FPS is concerned. Which probably explains why perfect dark zero fell below expectations..

Sure Goldeneye was an excellent game but that doesn't mean it should be resurrected. It wouldn't make any sense to remake the same game just with pretty graphics. Why not just make a good game from a newer Bond film or maybe something not based on the movies at all. Goldeneye [movie] was released over 10 years ago. Nobody will care about it because it's already been done.
